What is being proposed?

Land east of Station Lane has been promoted for residential development, with proposals indicating approximately 124 new homes.

The site has previously been considered through the South Warwickshire Local Plan process. The larger site was not included as an allocation in the current Regulation 19 Local Plan, but the landowner/promoter continues to explore its development potential.

Of particular concern to residents is the possibility of vehicular access through Kingswood Close, effectively changing the road from a cul-de-sac into a route serving a substantial new residential development.

The Residents Group has been established so that people living on Kingswood Close can respond collectively and constructively as proposals develop.

Our position is simple: Kingswood Close should remain a cul-de-sac.
